School of Vehicle and Mobility, Tsinghua University is proud to host the 14th Asia-Pacific Conference on Transportation and the Environment (APTE) from 9-11 August 2025.

The 14th edition of the APTE conference is organized by the Centre for Transportation Research at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, College of Design and Engineering at NUS, and co-organized by the NUS Environmental Research Institute and the Energy Studies Institute at NUS.

We welcome current and emerging topics on transport and the environment including the following:

Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang Province in eastern China, seamlessly blends its rich historical heritage with a dynamic, modern economy. Renowned for its picturesque West Lake and ancient temples, the city has evolved into a burgeoning hub for technological innovation and entrepreneurship.

A pivotal factor in Hangzhou's transformation is the presence of industry giants like Alibaba Group and NetEase, which have established the city as a cornerstone of China's digital economy. Beyond these titans, Hangzhou fosters a vibrant ecosystem of emerging technology companies. Notably, the city has given rise to the "Six Little Dragons," a group of innovative startups making significant strides in various tech sectors. These include DeepSeek, an artificial intelligence firm competing globally; Unitree Robotics, specializing in advanced robotics; BrainCo, focusing on brain-machine interfaces; Manycore, Deep Robotics, and Game Science, the developer behind the internationally acclaimed game "Black Myth: Wukong."

In essence, Hangzhou exemplifies a city where tradition meets innovation, offering a fertile ground for technological enterprises to thrive amidst a backdrop of cultural richness and scenic beauty.

Paper must be written in English and follow the template.
If you wish to publish your paper in our conference proceedings, please submit your full paper before the deadline 15 Mar 2025. For presentation only submissions, an abstract before the deadline will be adequate.
Upon acceptance, authors are required to register and present their papers at the conference.
Papers which make outstanding contributions to the relevant topics will be considered for best paper awards.
